These are typical comments by couples that have recently held wedding receptions at Stoke Park. Everyone who comes here is moved by the magic of the place – by its glorious Inigo Jones pavilions, built in 1630 in the Italian Palladian style; by its feeling of mystery and seclusion, hidden amid grass and woodland, far from the nearest road; by its long and wide views over unspoilt parkland; by its large ornamental pond with its friendly ducks and its statue and fountain in the centre. It is the most romantic possible setting in which to celebrate that special day.

Your wedding at Stoke Park will be tailor-made to your requirements. You will have exclusive access for the day to the West Pavilion, which was originally designed as a ballroom, and to its extensive gardens. While the Pavilion comfortably seats 80 people, for larger weddings the lawns in front of it provide ample space for a marquee and supporting facilities, and the gardens and pond provide the perfect backdrop for photographs.

The delightful Sarah Sweet-Rowley, of Sweet Events (see Contact), is here to see that all your needs are met and that your day runs like clockwork. Whether you want a silver service or a hog roast, a champagne fountain or Pimms on the lawn, a jazz band or a disco, she will used her trusted suppliers to provide it for you, and at a cost you can afford. Our aim and hers is neither more nor less than to help you create the perfect day.
